And I’ll definitely check out Daily Briefs newsletter. More awareness on security is definitely needed. The problem is, we don’t know what we don’t know about security and privacy, that we are so willingly giving up for convenience. I guess once people become aware of the tradeoffs, there’ll be stop selling their data for the convenience.

The same can be said about a lot of other pieces of technologies. Fitness trackers and smartwatches, for example. A lot of data is being collected from such smart devices, and we don’t even know what kind of impact that data could have if/when it reaches the wrong hands.
